Sophie began her career in Sales and Marketing in the pharmaceutical industry.  It is her innate desire, curiosity and passion in trying new things and creating value by establishing connections and development people for business opportunities or personal growth that led her to eventually become a Serial Entrepreneur. Sophie founded and was involved in the day-to-day operations of 5 businesses in the past 18 years. 

 

These leadership and business development experiences have equipped her with a sharp acumen to challenges facing those planning to venture into start-ups and the impact personal growth and training have on the organizations and individuals. Working with people from culturally and linguistically distinct backgrounds provides her with the ability to connect comfortably with diverse groups of individuals, organizations, and stakeholders.

 

As a coach, she collaborates with her clients to achieve their goals, support them in exploring new ways of seeing situations, people, possibilities and co-create with them, new approaches and actions. Sophie’s passion and interest in technology as well as her desire to work with more people, specially the younger generation, found her collaborating with Dana-Maria Faneker, founder of CaptainVR. Under Dana’s training and ongoing mentorship, Sophie became a certified CaptainVR VR Coach in 2021 and have since been giving workshops, trainings as well as 1:1 coaching via the metaverse. 

 

Outside of work, Sophie is an avid adventure traveler and explorer. She completed her first solo Camino Santiago del Norte in 2018 where she walked over 800km in 30 days. Her plan is to walk all Camino routes and other walking trails in the world where she pushes her boundaries as a solo woman traveler and incorporating that experience into her Travel Coaching arm.

 

Sophie is also a sports-turned-fitness and health enthusiast. Having battled with Hypothyroidism just two years ago, Sophie spent the past year focusing on health and Mental Fitness Coaching and experimented the most effective combination of exercise, food and rest for her and her clients to live their ideal chosen lifestyles. Other interests include yoga, reading, painting and writing.
